Children ride the Tour De France!!

 

From Friday June 19th 40 local children will be riding the Tour De France (3470km) in 10 days!

To raise money for the Eyam Pump Track & ‘Blend’ youth project - 40 children aged 5 to 18, from Eyam and Foolow with a few local friends intend to cycle the distance of this year’s Tour De France (3,470 km) in 10 days!

The children have been inspired by the fantastic efforts of the 32 children from the neighbouring village of Grindleford who cumulatively ran a total of 1,407km (the equivalent of John O’Groats to Lands End) in 9 days to raise funds for the Eyam Pump Track and Matlock Food Bank.
