The school is responsible for a number of events that happen throughout each year to help raise funds.
Hope Valley Adventure Film Festival
HVAFF is organised and run by the Hope Valley College PTFA as a way or raising funds used for developing school facilities. It takes place in March each year.

The Severn Trent Mountain Challenge is the perfect event for teams to take a break from busy schedules, put their heads together and walk their way through challenging terrain. Setting off from Hope Valley College, walkers navigate across the glorious Dark Peak area – with map reading skills a necessity! Those who take part then enjoy spectacular views and exhilarating inclines before descending back through Edale to Hope Valley College for refreshments and hot food.

Hope Valley Mountain Bike Challenge
This event runs every year in September. Participants choose from 2 tough off road events of either 14 or 28 miles around the beautiful Hope Valley. It is organised and run by the Hope Valley College PTFA. Money raised from this event goes to support Hope Valley College, CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and Edale Mountain Rescue Team.
