Transport to our school

Many students travel on public buses from across Derbyshire and Sheffield. Discounted weekly bus passes for students travelling from Sheffield are available for £8.50 per week.

How to Apply

The application deadline, by which you need to have applied for your child’s secondary school place, is 31 October.

If you live in Derbyshire

Applications should be made via the Derbyshire County Council website at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/education/schools/school-places/apply-for-a-school-place.aspx.

If you live in Sheffield

If you live in Sheffield and want to apply for a place at Hope Valley College, you can apply through Sheffield City Council's application process. In Sheffield, the deadline for online applications is 14 October 2022, and for paper form applications is 31 October 2022.  Further details are available at www.sheffield.gov.uk/schools-childcare/apply-school-place.
