The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association for Hope Valley College is very active in support of the school. They are busy organising fundraising events throughout the year, including:
'Music and Mayhem': Saturday 25 June 2022, 2.00 - 6.00pm
Run as part of Hope Wakes Week, 'Music and Mayhem' will showcase local musical talent throughout the afternoon, along with fun activities for all the family. Held at Hope Valley College, this event promises pantomime horse races, obstacle courses and much, much more. There will be a different musical act every half hour and refreshments will, of course, be available throughout the afternoon.
If you want to help with the organisation or join in with the fun on the day, let us know by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Benefitting All Hope Valley Students
In recent years, support from the PTFA has helped Hope Valley College refurbish its library and geography classrooms. It has provided a 3D printer for use in the Design and Technology Department, benches for students' use at breaktime and lunchtime and new goalposts on the football pitches. The school also has the PTFA to thank for the fantastically cheerful refurbished restaurant.
Find out what the PTFA is up to in their latest newsletter:
Anyone from our community who wants to support the school is welcome to get involved. If you are the parent or carer of a new student, due to start at Hope Valley in September, getting involved with the PTFA is a great way to get to know the school.
The PTFA would love to hear from you if you can:
- volunteer to help at car boot sales - there are plenty of roles available:
- catering assistance
- ushers and marshals to help the event run smoothly
- car park attendance
- litter picking
- provide great ideas for fund-raising opportunities, and help to make them happen.
Please email us at PTFAhv@hopevalley.chorustrust.org for further information. We'd love to hear from you!
