PTFA
The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association for Hope Valley College is very active in support of the school. They are busy organising fundraising events throughout the year, including:
Hope Valley Adventure Film Festival (HVAFF)
HVAFF is back for 2023! Join us on Saturday 25 March for a full day of films, activities and food for the whole family. The event itself will run from 10am until 9.30pm. Full details and tickets will be released in the coming weeks so watch this space.

We're looking to build a team of volunteers to help us throughout the day. We've broken it down into manageable chunks, so nobody needs to help for the whole time. All volunteers get free entry to the event. If you think you can help, please email PTFAhv@hopevalley.chorustrust.org with your name and number and the best time to contact you.
Mini adventure film competition
HVC students can enter the HVAFF mini adventure film competition. Deadline for entries is Friday 18 March.

Benefitting All Hope Valley Students
In recent years, support from the PTFA has helped Hope Valley College refurbish its library and geography classrooms. It has provided a 3D printer for use in the Design and Technology Department, benches for students' use at breaktime and lunchtime and new goalposts on the football pitches. The school also has the PTFA to thank for the fantastically cheerful refurbished restaurant.
Newsletters

Get involved
Anyone from our community who wants to support the school is welcome to get involved. If you are the parent or carer of a new student, due to start at Hope Valley in September, getting involved with the PTFA is a great way to get to know the school.
The PTFA would love to hear from you if you can provide great ideas for fund-raising opportunities, and help to make them happen.
Please email us at PTFAhv@hopevalley.chorustrust.org for further information. We'd love to hear from you!
